How We Work
From the moment you walk into the showroom, you will be treated as an individual.
No pressure, no gimmicks...
There will never be any pressure to purchase a kitchen, never any sale gimmicks and we promise never to ring you whilst you are making decisions about who to purchase your new kitchen from. If you speak to past customers (hopefully that's the reason you're on our website), we have usually provided the best design proposal with high-quality worktops, appliances, sinks & taps. For more information on these products, please take the time to have a look at our Trading Partners page.
The normal process is once you have visited our showroom or website, we will come to your home and measure the room or look at any architectural plans you've had drawn up. Then all we need is some guidance from you on the style of kitchen you have in mind, a rough guide to appliance and worktop choices. We do not need to know your budget, we will price up your choices and in 99% of all quotations, we are below or in line with what most people intend to spend.
Once we have the information, we will leave you in peace and at a point in the future that is convenient for you, sit down in our showroom and go through technical ground plans, 3d illustrations and a full quotation. The quotations are fully broken down into their component parts listing all the specific details of the kitchen including for example; Appliance Model Number, brief description and individual cost. In this internet age, information is freely available and you can check our prices against those online for reassurance that we strive to be competitive across all markets.
These plans, illustrations and quotations are yours to take away and discuss in more detail should you wish to do so. As we say to most clients, the world is not about to run out of kitchens so there is no pressure to decide at this point if this is right for you. We have clients who have come back to us over a year after having the initial quotation as the time is then right for them to proceed with booking an installation. For some more re-assurance, price increases in our industry are typically small ( less than 3% annually equating to £30 in each £1000 ) and occur at certain times of the year which we can advise you of if asked. Likewise, we don't do the tiresome sale gimmicks so there is no time frame for you to have to make a decision. It is your money you are spending and your free choice as to how, when and with whom to spend it.
If you decide to go ahead with the kitchen, we will repeat the whole process of running through the plans and choices on one of our client coversheets. This will list the financials, logistics and specific options selected which we will work to and send copies in the post for your own records. It is a double checking system to ensure you are 100% happy and can ask questions prior to us ordering up the required products.
Then we proceed to build your kitchen.
All of the cabinets are made right here at our factory in Wigan. We manufacture using high-quality furniture board in the colour of your choice and as such, we will build the cabinets in any size to custom fit your room. In terms of the technical specification of the cabinets, they are all built using 18mm material and PVC edged (excluding wall cabinet backs which are 8mm) and are delivered built ready for installation. We install the Blum range of soft-closing hinges and drawers which carry a lifetime guarantee to all of our furniture as standard. We also pre-install any wirework, bins, drawers etc in the workshop to ensure they are fitted to our exacting standards and minimise installation error on-site.
Ultimately, we rely on happy customers so we make it our responsibility to live up to these high standards, to ensure we are recommended to friends and family in the future. If you did wish to discuss any of the above or have further questions, please feel free to contact us by phone, email or in person at the showroom
