The Project

The brief was to design a large classic kitchen as part of a modernisation and extension project for a young family. The client's theme was to utilise muted grey tones in line with the rest of the home whilst keeping the kitchen warm and appealing.

Classic Oak cabinets sit behind painted Shaker doors in a mix of Anthracite and Light Grey with which we aimed to create something of a masculine feeling in the room. The polished Bianco Rivers Silestone worktops add a sleek and seamless feel to the scheme and provide lots of useful preparation space.

Rich and deeply coloured Wenge wood forms a slick intersection with the Silestone whilst providing a huge social dining space at the island. Neff Slide & Hide Ovens, Flexi-Induction Hob and Island Extractor are in full view and centralised to the island plus a multitude of further appliances including Microwave, hidden full height Fridge & Freezer, Dishwasher and Wine Cooler. A Blanco twin undermount sink in Silgranit complementing the worktop sits under the window offering a beautiful view of the garden at the rear.
