The Project

The brief was to design a kitchen full of character but with modern touches as part of an extension project. The client's theme was to create a homely feel using a knotty oak finsh to complement the rustic floors and internal pine joinery that ran through the rest of their home

Rustic Oak cabinets sit behind Natural Character Oak Shaker doors with long pewter bow handles to keep a traditional feel. The leathered Cosmic Black Granite worktops add a warm feel to the scheme and provide lots of useful preparation space. The granite is further shown off as a full side panel on the central breakfast bar peninsular.

Neff Double Oven & Combi-Microwave sit in the recess below the stairs with a tall and slim pullout system to
maximise storage space in the room. A 5-Burner Gas Hob and Upswept Extractor are centralised above the large pan drawers, close to the large steel undermount sink & fully integrated dishwasher. Full Height Fridge & Freezer are hidden along with a fantastic tandem larder in the tall furniture plus a broom cabinet to house the ironing board and hoover.
